TREM419 owns the photos, videos and other media. Your purchase gives you permission to use them, not ownership of the copyright.

Property shoots: Use the media to advertise that specific property for sale or lease. Other work: Use it for your business and other lawful purposes under your invoice, order or agreement. Others can use that non-property media on your behalf within those permissions.

Your permission does not expire. We may also license the media to others. You cannot pass your permission to someone else. Uses outside those listed above need our written approval.

Copyright questions, answered

Can I buy the copyright?

Yes. Our copyright buyouts are very affordable. Contact us for a quote. Ownership transfers only through a separate written agreement signed by Toledo Real Estate Media.

How should I credit your work on social media?

When sharing media you’re licensed to use, please credit Toledo Real Estate Media in your caption and tag our account when available. “Photography by Toledo Real Estate Media” is a simple way to do it. Giving creators credit is a thoughtful habit whenever you share their work. Remember to follow their usage terms, too: credit does not replace permission.

Does paying for a shoot mean I own the copyright?

Your purchase gives you the usage rights described in your license, invoice or agreement. Toledo Real Estate Media retains the copyright unless we complete a separate written copyright buyout.

Can another agent, builder or business use my listing photos?

Please contact us before sharing property-listing media with another party for their own use. We’ll help you work out the appropriate written permission. Your license to market a specific property does not automatically give another business its own usage rights.

What if I need to use the media in a different way?

Tell us what you have in mind. We can discuss expanded usage rights, additional third-party permissions or a copyright buyout. Any additional rights must be approved in writing. Call (419) 540-0065 or email [email protected] to get started.

Toledo Real Estate Media retains all right, title, ownership, and copyright interest in all photographs, videos, media files, digital files, and other creative works created by Toledo Real Estate Media or on its behalf, including all original and edited versions of those materials collectively, the “Assets.” The Purchaser receives only the usage rights expressly granted in these terms. No copyright ownership is transferred unless Toledo Real Estate Media agrees to a copyright buyout in a separate written agreement signed by Toledo Real Estate Media. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.

For Assets created to market a specific real property, Toledo Real Estate Media grants the Purchaser a perpetual, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Assets solely to market that specific property for sale or lease. This includes use on the MLS, brokerage websites, listing services, real estate portals, social media, and similar real estate platforms, but only as reasonably necessary to market that specific property.

For Assets not created to market real property, Toledo Real Estate Media grants the Purchaser a perpetual, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Assets for the Purchaser’s business, marketing, advertising, promotional, and other lawful purposes, unless otherwise stated in the applicable invoice, order, or written agreement. The Purchaser may authorize third parties to use those Assets on the Purchaser’s behalf or in connection with the Purchaser’s permitted use.

Except as expressly allowed above, the Purchaser may not sell, resell, transfer, assign, sublicense, distribute, give away, or otherwise provide any Assets to another party without Toledo Real Estate Media’s prior written approval. No permitted third-party use transfers copyright ownership or allows any party to resell, reuse, transfer, or use the Assets outside the scope of the Purchaser’s license.

The Purchaser may request a license extension, expanded usage rights, additional third-party permissions, or a copyright buyout by contacting Toledo Real Estate Media at (419) 540-0065 or [email protected]. Any such rights must be approved in writing by Toledo Real Estate Media.
